Indian government implemented 24x7 water supply projects in few selected cities. These projects were implemented either under Public Private Partnership (PPP) or direct funding by government. However, many projects witnessed failure during later stage of project life cycle. The paper aimed to carry out performance evaluation of implementation of continuous water supply projects against the various risks. The case study research methodology was adopted for the study. Initially, various risks in water supply projects were identified through literature review. Two polar cases were selected for the study, one was implemented under Public Private Partnership (PPP) and other was implemented under direct funding from government budget.
