Recent technological advancements in wireless network have enabled sensors with great sensing capability in data transmission and reception. Wireless adhoc network is a network established for data transmission and reception through many wireless nodes. In evaluating the performance of the network, dynamic control and routing based approaches are incorporated in Adhoc networks. Adhoc networks are having constraints in terms of high power consumption and low bandwidth. Communication within the network is affected if the battery power is drained. This limitation is addressed using novel probabilistic approach in packetized transmission and it improves the energy efficiency of the network as well.
