简介
Paratelphusa hydrodromus exhibited varied behavioural responses such as restless and exited swimming movements, the intensity of which varied with the organophosphate used. These responses are attributed to the effect of inhibitory chemotoxins on the chemoreceptors and ultimately to the impairment of nervous system. The LC sub(50) values of insecticides phosphamidon, dichlorvos and monocrotophos are exposed to 24, 48, 72 and 96 hr, ranged from 4.72 to 7.79 ppm, 2.32 to 5.23 ppm and 1.66 to 5.75 ppm respectively. Of them, monochrotophos proved most toxic even at low concentration levels compared to that of either phosphamidon or dichlorvos.
