简介
The basic problem this paper addresses is the recovery of the kinetic energy lost during braking and downhill driving in a battery electrical vehicle. The aim is to compare different modes of the drive performance and arrangement in terms of their possibility to save energy. The force, power and energy estimating procedures are discussed. Properties affecting the braking energy regeneration are analyzed. Using the simulation, the benefits of the direct torque control of regeneration upon the scalar one are presented and explained. Also, the laboratory experimental setup is described and results of an experimental study of the propulsion drive using this equipment are described.
