An object-oriented model of a learning system is proposed to optimize the methodical resources of higher educational institutions, particularly their curricula, syllabi, schedules, studies, etc. Unlike the procedural approach, an object-oriented paradigm divides the system into the classes of interactive objects. The hierarchical system of the classes Thesaurus, Studies, Disciplines, and Concepts underlay the model. The proposed approach contributes into the education development and improving. It helps to prepare the basic modules for particular teaching methods, to emphasize the disciplines without doubling, and to realize the procedure inheritance in the educational institutions.
