The prediction of performance of the students in forthcoming exams and at different competitive exams plays a vital role in deciding where they are heading towards. It helps both the students and the institutions to always have a scope of improvement. By performing a prior analysis of a student’s performance, a proper identification of its strengths and weaknesses can be done. Based on these identified strengths and weaknesses proactive measures can be taken such as trainings, workshops and different types of learning sessions can be organized in order to overcome these weaknesses. Therefore, taking all these needs into consideration we have develop a model using machine learning which will predict the future academic performance of a student based on its previous performance and considering several other attributes that effect a student’s performance such as mental and physical health. This model will help the educational institutions to reduce the number of student fail.
