The analytical modelling of bond between FRP reinforcing bars and concrete is discussed in this paper. Some experimental bond tests are analyzed to better understand the influence of properties of the outer surface and fibers on the bond performance. Three theoretical bond-slip relationships-the Malvar model, the Bertero-Popov-Eligehausen model, already used for steel, and an original one proposed by the authors are introduced in order to evaluate the adequacy to model FRP-concrete bond.
