Business processes are getting more complex and harder to manage. They have to deal with complex computer systems, dispersed human resources inside multi-national corporations. These corporate environments need advanced monitoring resources in order to ensure the availability and efficiency of their infrastructure. The Autonomic Computing can offer new ideas to business process automation, hiding the infrastructure problems and concerns from the final user. This work intends to demonstrate an autonomic solution to a real world business process. We simulate a process in different situations in order to identify optimization possibilities and search for autonomic solutions to solve the crashes caused by infrastructure failures.
