Revolution in information and communication technology (ICT) has made a remarkable impact on the society. Countries across the world are using ICT to facilitate information dissemination and communication in all areas of education, training, and administration. In Indian education institutions, over the years there has been a rapid increase in the gross enrollment ratio (GER). The existing manpower in universities is unable to cope with the increased workload.
