The main objective of this study is to gather information about teachers perception of Mobile Game-based Learning (MGBL). A mixed method research was used to collect and analyze data from 95 brazilian teachers. Although they know about the use of games in education (> 70%), have positive perceptions about its pedagogical benefits (> 80%) and intention to use it in smartphones (> 60%), no statistical correlation were found between these informations and the intention in using mobile games in education (p-value > 0.05). The qualitative analysis provides relevant reasons why teacher's reject or accepts MGBL.
