Recently, the running down of fossil fuels has led to the improvement of the electric vehicle (EV) as it has lower emission and increased energy efficiency compared to a conventional vehicle. Yet, there are number of difficulties regarding EV implementation such as reduced driving range, expensive batteries, and the need of significant charging infrastructure. Vehicle scheduling is the predominant problem in charging infrastructure. Driving range, battery cost, scheduling cost, energy consumptions in grid, vehicle cost, and vehicle and battery performance are some of the objectives need to be optimized. To overcome such difficulties, various optimization algorithms are employed.
