2 November, welcoming more than 200 students from all over the country, coming together to learn about the future of the paramedic profession. Students of all levels travelled to Hatfield, Hertfordshire to enjoy this event, organised solely by students and recent graduates from the paramedic programmes at the University of Hertfordshire. The day was also attended by senior lecturers, two consultant paramedics and key members from the College of Paramedics.
The day began with an opening address from two members of the committee who could not quite believe that after a year of planning, the conference was actually going ahead—and in its first year, had sold out three weeks before the big day!
