This project proposes a method to evaluate data reliability from meta information. Several criteria are used, each one providing a piece of information about data reliability. These pieces are then aggregated into a global assessment that is sent back, after proper post-treatment, to the end user. We propose a generic method to assess data reliability from a set of criteria using the theory of belief functions. Customizable criteria and insightful decisions are provided. The chosen illustrative example comes from real-world data issued from the data warehouse.
