As the voice of Europe’s universities EUA supports and takes forward the interests of individual institutions and the higher education sector as a whole. The major objectives of the 1st Forum were: to promote a sound approach to quality assurance by encouraging internal quality developments in higher educational establishments and an appropriate balance between the implementation of the required tools to assure quality and the need to foster creativity in research and education; to foster research focused on quality assurance.
