Singlet− singlet, singlet− triplet, and triplet− triplet energy transfer takes place within single
crystals and amorphous solid-state solutions of a molecular dyad comprising boron
dipyrromethene and oligo-thiophene subunits. The crystal and sublimed thin-films are
strongly fluorescent.
