The discovery of a modern fiber which has strength of a beast coupled with the weight of a feather brought revolution in the industry of nanotechnology. When in the early 2000′s the “Scotch Tape” method for the discovery of graphene was published it turned out to be an invention that happens once in century. Now as we see journals having filled with the work in developed technological advancement of this noble fiber. From the year 2011, the year of its first commercial production to 2020 where it has reached to the zenith of nano-composite and armor application, this fiber has created such standards for itself, that only coming time can address. The present review article focusses on the lateral discovery from its monopolistic methods of creation to the commercialized application of entities and further depicting the field of the exponential growth in future.
