Sustainability in an agricultural system depends on many factors. An awareness of these factors should be central to the development of any policy or strategy for sustainable agriculture. The methodology for the research was by means of a survey; data for which were collected through field research. The statistical sample consisted of heads households in the rural area of Azna, they were randomly selected and through the use of Cochran's formula amounted to 200 cases. The Cronbach alpha coefficient, KMO and Bartlett's tests were used to determine the validity and reliability of questionnaires. Results showed that there were five factors contributing to agricultural sustainability; farming operations, social collaboration, support services/infrastructure, the economic situation and the ecological factor, were all identified as factors affecting sustainability in an agricultural system and the model was supported and determined as significant according to these five factors.
