The afferent vessels of the circulus arteriosus cerebri in the camel were studied
quantitatively. It was found that the diameters of the arteries did not differ significantly on the
left and right sides. An interesting observation was that the basilar artery contributed to the
blood supply of the brain in the camel, in contrast to the situation in other ruminants.
