A quartic functional equation originating from the sum of the medians of a triangle in fuzzy normed space

In this paper, we solve the following quartic functional equation f (x/+ y 2-z)+ f (y/+ z 2-x)+ f
(z/+ x 2-y)= 9/16 (f (xy)+ f (yz)+ f (zx)) originating from the sum of the medians of a triangle,
and prove the Ulam-Hyers stability of the quartic functional equation in fuzzy normed space
by the direct and fixed point methods. An application of this functional equation is also
provided.
