" Boneless painting", also known as" mo gu hua", is an ancient Chinese painting technique with a history of over a thousand years. However, due to the complexity of drawing techniques and the influence of popular culture, the general public has relatively little knowledge of this painting technique. Current static exhibitions in art museums are not effective in generating interest or understanding. The lack of audience and inheritors has caused this cultural heritage to gradually decline. In this paper, we leverage the power of AI to break the traditional static exhibition format by generating dynamic videos of boneless painting, attracting more audiences to appreciate and understand this painting technique, and promoting the dissemination of boneless painting. At the same time, we utilize AI technology to synthesize time lapse videos depicting how a given boneless painting might have been created, helping beginners to learn and inherit the technique. Our work studies the role of AI in the dissemination and inheritance of cultural heritage, and summarizes the design framework of AI in cultural heritage experience design, providing design case studies and design methods support for cultural heritage protection in the context of emerging technologies.
