Acoustical studies of Rilpivirine drug in dimethyl sulfoxide

Herein, density (ρ) and ultrasonic velocity (C) of Rilpivirine drug in DMSO were measured at
frequency 2 Hz at 300 K using ultrasonic interferometer. Using these experimental data
adiabatic compressibility (β s), intermolecular free length (L f) and specific acoustic
impedance (Z) and Rao's constant (R) have been evaluated. The strength of interactions
between drug and solvent has been discussed. The hydrogen bond architecture plays
important role to elucidate the structural behaviours.
