Robots have become a central part in the day‐to‐day activities of humans. Communication

Robots have become a central part in the day‐to‐day activities of humans. Communication between the two still remains a challenging task and processing methods should be developed to map out the problems. Human and robot communication can be enabled by incorporating natural language processing (NLP) techniques from the artificial intelligence field. The proposed system enables the movement of robots based on instructions as well as constraints from humans. The system works in three phases: (i) text transformation using NLP, (ii) categorization of instruction, and (iii) post processing of data. Long short‐term memory (LSTM) is used for categorization of input instructions given by the user. The experimental results show how single instruction accuracy plays an effective role in movement of robots.
