Abstract
The requirements of education are complex and they go from sharpening abstract logical thinking to developing concrete skills of students. Besides facts and problem solving, students need to learn how to communicate, work in a team, or become responsible citizens. Because of its' simplicity and easy-to-use characteristics, Geogebra is attracting more and more users every day. During the teaching process the focus was on application and modelling, but also on problem solving. Besides that the emphasis was on mathematics and problems from materials science that can be solved by mathematical modelling.
