This paper demonstrates the study and design of a compact and inexpensive chipless RFID
tag with increased data capacity on flexible substrates like plastic or paper. Along with the
integrated antennas, the overall size of this tag is similar to that of a credit card. In this case,
polarization diversity is used to provide a bit capacity of up to 10 bits in the UWB short range
RADAR band of 22-26.5 GHz. An interrogation process of the printed tag prototype to extract
