A configuration of multistrip lines mounted on a multilayer dielectric-coated elliptic cylinder is
investigated in this paper. A full-wave analysis and a moment-method calculation are
employed. The analysis is carried out considering the expansion of the field as a series of
Mathieu functions. Both open and shielded lines are considered in the analysis. Propagation
coefficients and characteristic impedances are calculated for the lines with different
