In the oil industry, ocean bottom node acquisition (OBN) is one of the technologies utilized to
help in deep marine exploration and development. It has also allowed us to acquire data
over areas with more complex shallow bathymetry. Like many new techniques, it has its
advantages and limitations. In this abstract, we will discuss some of them by showing
examples from a recently acquired large, high density and full azimuth OBN survey.
