Coal in the research area are not treated optimally despite having a high quality factor caused by the presence of pyrite but very interesting to research direction of spread. The result of this research was to determine the coal distribution information based on the analysis of the value of resistivity in the research area. To mapping the coal potential used by methode of resistivity geoelectric. This method can provide information about the different physical parameters between the electrical conductivity of subsurface rocks. This is in line with the availability coal is a sedimentary rock form a homogeneous layer, so it is very appropriate when using methode of resistivity geoelectric. Based on the results of geoelectric interpretation the coal in research area was obtained at an elevation of 322-324m with relative thickness leads to Southeast area of research. The level of maturation or high calorific value based on appearance megaskopis are in the Southeast Region. The results showed resistivity values 100-300Ωm coal in the research area. Directions distribution of coal leads and thicken towards the Southeast that is directly proportional to the thickening of the cover layer.
