A novel angular-fused dithianaphthylquinone derivative, f-TX-TPA, was designed and
selectively synthesized. The regioselectivity of angular-fused reaction was interpreted by
theoretical calculations. The f-TX-TPA compound displayed excellent thermally activated
delayed fluorescence property. Moreover, the organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) using f-
TX-TPA as an emitter exhibited a high external quantum efficiency of 15.9%. These results
