Parijoto (Medinilla speciosa) is an endemic plant in Indonesia that was generally consumed
by pregnant women and used as diarrhea and cholesterol drugs. The parijoto fruits are
purplish red, where it is indicated that parijoto fruits contain anthocyanins ie, water-soluble
