The present study was aimed to assess the role of the flood pulse related to the composition
of the ichthyofauna of the Caiçara Basin System (Upper Baía Caiçara/UBC e Lower Baía
Caiçara/LBC) in a pantanal environment, in Cáceres, Mato Grosso. 90,041 specimens were
