The results showed that breed had no significant effect on albumin (Alb), globulin (Glb), Alb/Glb ratio, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and alanine aminotransferase (ALT). However, V-Line does showed significantly (P< 0.05) the highest values of total protein (TP) and total lipids (TL), while Bauscat realized significantly (P< 0.05) the highest values of alkaline phosphatase. The levels of TP, Alb, Glb and alkaline phosphatase enzyme reached their peak values at day 14 of gestation.
