The present paper is based on literature review search on use of prints within and outside
the libraries after invasion of electronic resources and services. It tries to extract the trends of
information access, reading habits and library use as well impacts of demographic variations
are also studied. It was concluded that electronic resources are used for getting information
and it is also suited for reading too. However reading on prints are preferred by readers.
