In this work, a SEPIC converter with quasi resonant converter for high boost DC/DC
operation in water pumping application with BLDC motor drive is implemented. Due to the
quasi resonant topology, switching loss is reduced and it has coupled inductor with
capacitors. Simulation result for proposed converter is analysed with the help of MATLAB
and 97.72% converter efficiency and 7.3 voltage gain is obtained with the 0.6 duty cycle.
