Human force is a key element for organizations’ survival. From a general point of view, any organization’s success depends on its work force effort and job satisfaction. Regarding the importance of the workforce morale in augmenting the efficacy of their organization and the novelty of research on organizational morale in national universities of Iran, the aim of present study is to identify and investigate the factors affecting academic members’ morale in order to provide solutions for promoting and strengthening their spirit. The present study is a descriptive survey research during which we have described the collected data and investigated the relation between independent variables and the academic members’ morale as the dependent variable. The result from this study suggest that academic members enjoy high morale and there is a significant relation among various management, structural, financial, environmental, facilitatory, and educational-investigational factors with academic members’ morale. Based on this data, legislators and planners should consider above factors in raising academic members’ morale in a large educational scale for higher education organizations.
