Technology developments change the way we learn and teach. The presence of teacher no longer as the center of learning, but become facilitator that provide the way for the student to learn. One of the modern learning methods is interactive learning using software application. The aim of the study is to develop interactive learning application for student in vocational high school. The application is tested by comparing student's learning performance between interactive multimedia application and conventional learning method. The study was conducted at Vocational High School Ma'arif NU Batam on graphic design subjects in multimedia department. The result of the study shows the students that using interactive learning application have better performance in learning than the students that use conventional method.
