Introduction: The present study aimed to evaluate a rapid and inexpensive colorimetric
nitrate reductase assay (NRA) performed directly on sputum specimens for detection of drug
resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB). Methodology: A total of 55 sputum samples
