A computing methodology is reported for modeling the plastic deformation of Metal Matrix
Composites. Use is made of a discrete-continuum model based on a coupling between
Dislocation Dynamics and Finite Element simulations, which provides a parameter-free
quantitative description of the mechanical properties. The model and the first simulation
results on MMCs are presented and briefly discussed.
