A novel chirped pulse amplification (CPA) configuration consisting of chirped fiber Bragg
grating (CFBG) with tunable dispersion as a pulse stretcher and chirped volume Bragg
grating (CVBG) as a pulse compressor is presented. We demonstrated that ultra short pulses
was stretched up to 300 ps and compressed to sub-1ps without residual pedestal using
described configuration quite efficiently.
