The extension of a compressible fractional step method for reactive flows and its
implementation in DLR CFD code THETA are discussed. Furthermore, time domain
impedance boundary conditions (TDIBC) are incorporated in the solution algorithm. Both
extensions of the original solution algorithm are validated against numerical, analytical and
experimental data.
