Objective In the present study, the extracellular synthesis of gold nanoparticles were made
by making use of Pseudomonas fluorescens. Methods The nanoparticles obtained were
characterized by UV–vis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Scanning electron
microscopy (SEM) and FTIR spectroscopy. Results Synthesized nanoparticle size ranged
from 50–70 nm. FTIR spectrum indicates that the biomolecule cap the nanoparticles.
