Multi-drug resistant (MDR) clinical isolates were used to test the bactericidal efficacy of the
newly synthesized porous chitosan/silvernanocomposite film. The synthesized composite
was characterized by using UV–Vis, FTIR, XRD and HRSEM analysis. The SEM images
illustrate the presence of embedded silver nanoparticles (20–50 nm) throughout the films.
Moreover, the presence of a small quantity of metal nanoparticles in the composite was
