This article reports about the factors that determine the readiness of faculty members towards e-learning on the basis of the small-scale literature review on e-learning readiness. The purpose of the review was to identify the key factors that determine the readiness of faculty members towards e-learning. The research questions are what are the most frequent factors used to study about e-learning readiness? What are the components studied under each readiness factor? The review gives an overview of factors that determine the e-learning readiness of faculty members, and it also covers the methodology, sample, tool, data analysis used in previous researches on e-learning readiness. The conclusion suggests that the factors and its components that determine the e-learning readiness of faculty members are very diversified. However, technological aspects, psychological aspects and pedagogical aspects together to a great extent determine the readiness of faculty members towards e-learning.
