Biological systems employing microorganisms have been used as an alternative to
conventional chemical techniques for synthesizing gold nanoparticles. In the present study,
gold nanoparticles have been synthesized from the supernatant broth (SB) and live cell
filtrate (LCF) of the industrially important fungus Penicillium rugulosum. Additionally, potato
