Abstract
Introduction:. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from mild to severe symptoms. COVID-19 is cause by virus called Sars-CoV-2. Health protocol implementation is One effort to prevent the transmission of Covid 19. In less than a year, COVID-19 has spread to almost all corners of the world. on March 2, 2020 there were two cases In Indonesia but on March 31, 2020 showed that there were 1,528 confirmed cases and 136 deaths with 10 Mortality rate. This high knowledge show inversely phenomenon with health protocols obedience. Indonesin Covid 19 task force stated there is low level of community health protocols compliance. The percentage of compliance to wear a mask is 58.32%. Meanwhile, Social distanceing percentage is 43.46% recorded on November 24, 2020.
Method
This study used survey research design through a cross-sectional approach.
Result and analysis
The results show that almost all respondents (95.46%) have good  health knowledge and more than half of the respondents or 39 people (59.09%) have shown positive behavior. Bivariate analysis of knowledge and behavior scores using the Spearman Rho correlative method showed a significance value of p= 0.608 (p> 0.05) and a correlation coefficient of-0.64 indicating that there was no correlation between knowledge and behavior of implementing health protocols in respondents.
Discussion
The behavioral application of the of the Health protocol implementation is not only influenced by the knowledge factor alone. It is suspected that there are several other factors that contribute to this phenomenon. Transmission prevention behavior during the pandemic was significantly related to age group, marital status, and profession. Respondents who are most confident that the pandemic can be controlled are over 44 years old, married, and not working. It can be concluded that there is no relationship between knowledge and behavior in the application of health protocols among Nursing Study Program student at the Institut Teknologi sains dan Kesehatan Rs Dr Soepraoen Malang. There is a need for further exploration of factors that have the potential to have an indirect influence on the phenomenon under study and the need for the involvement of more respondents in further research
