Cadmium sulphide nanoparticles suffer an intrinsic disadvantage of photocorrosion as
photocatalyst. The nanocomposites of mesoporous carbon and CdS nanoparticles improve
photostability and minimise photocorrosion of CdS. The recombination of the
photogenerated electron and hole which leading to photocorrosion in CdS is thereby
