A field study was undertaken to assess the efficacy of Parthenium hysterophorus along with
several other plants, viz. Cannabis sativa; Melilotus alba; Anagallis arvensis; Gliricidia
septum/Gliricidia maculata; Melia azadirachta; Chenopodium album; Solanum nigrum;
Eclipta alba; Saccharum spontaneum and Amaranthus spinosus. These above mentioned
plant extracts were introduced on the mustard oil seed plant-Brassica juncea, for controlling
