Abstract
Concrete waste is a solid waste and discarding this waste is a serious problem and requires large space for its disposal and a few percent of it is recycled or reused. This waste can be used instead of natural aggregates in fresh concrete, thus reducing the space for landfill deposits and minimizing environmental pollution. This study shows the change in the strength of concrete when RA is added to it instead of NCA, experiments are done to determine the effect of replacing natural coarse aggregates by recycling coarse aggregates on compressive strength. 7%, 14%, 28% & 35% of the NCA are replaced by RCA. Coarse aggregates are collected from demolished concrete cubes and then aggregates are recycled to prepare fresh concrete of different percentages with recycled aggregates.
