Facial Expression of the human being is the one which is the outcome of the inner feelings of the mind. Facial expressions are the facial changes in response to a person’s internal emotional states and intentions. In this paper, the faces are detected by Triangular Features using Lines-Of-Connectivity face model. The Linesof-Connectivity (LC) face model is a geometric approach in which the spatial relationships among the facial features are determined for the purpose of facial expressions. In the proposed method, the three facial expressions viz Happy, Sad and Anger of the different persons are recognized using the geometrical features of the face like triangular features, Orientation, Perimeter, and Distance. The experimental results and the comparative analysis demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach.
