Class-D power amplifier (PA) driving the primary coil of a wireless power transfer (WPT)
system is analyzed. Switching-frequency modulation is used to adjust the PA transmission
power to compensate for coupling and loading variations. The respective inductor currents
of the primary coil working at resonant, harmonic and sub-harmonic frequencies are
analytically derived and verified by extensive SPICE simulations.
