Abstract
Aerial photography using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) has been widely used for several applications except for agricultural sector which is still quite rare. The purpose of this study was to determine rice plant fertility using aerial photos. Photos were analyzed using visual basic program to find out the leaf color level. Level of leaf color is divided into four classes. Validation result from image processing using weighted accretion is obtained 94.67%. The requirement of urea in the field is 43.72 kg based on aerial photos and LCC, respectively. This study finds that the application of aerial photo could reduced 27.1% the used of urea.
